Any plans for the topics/tags?

I realize that, so far, Fluther is on standstill when it comes to working on the site, improving it and/or adding/fixing features. One thing that changed are the topics, which we can no longer create to add to the list; people have to pick the ones that exist currently. (the change is due to these topics now meaning something other than what they did before, if I recall) I was told that it’s an eventual plan to add more topics though.
This is a question mostly for staff and moderators. (but anyone can answer) I know this has been asked before, I’m not trying to be annoying, I just think an update on this matter would be interesting. Will there come a time when more topics will be available, and will people be able to make suggestions? because xenomorphs should be a topic, since they kick so much ass
Just wondering where that’s at? I do think it would be pretty neat to have more topics, and that the members could have a say in what they want them to be. If there are no current plans, I’m not asking this to gripe about it or anything, and I enjoy things here as they are just fine. But you know, just curious. :D Thanks.
