Are there emulators that you can play multiplayer games on?

Are there any SNES emulators that allow you to play games that have multiplayer features online with others using that same emulator?

In my experience yes, you simply setup the controls for Player 2 as well as Player 1… and then play as such.

ZSNES offers netplay up to v1.50; it was removed due to difficulties with synchronisation.

You can still download netplay-enabled versions though.
