What are some voting slogans that encourage people to vote?
I want to make a couple voting posters to encourage people to vote, but I don’t want it to be candidate specific. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me?

Slogans are a way of preaching to the choir, not a way of converting the opposition. If you want to encourage people to vote, then, you will need to have actual discussions with them and explain the virtues of voting and the vices of political apathy. But if you need something short and pithy, here are two great political quotes from the ancient Greek statesman Pericles:
“Just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you.”
“We do not say that a man who takes no interest in politics is a man who minds his own business; we say that he has no business here at all.”
Your vote makes a big difference.
Your vote counts.
Your vote will elect the right person.
We are the most free because you can vote.
Thank God you can vote.
We fought in Iraq so you could vote.
We fought in Vietnam so you could vote.
We are fighting in Afghanistan so you can vote.
Be grateful you are an American: You can vote.
Do what the rest of the world can’t: Vote.
Our gas is cheaper because you can vote.
It only takes two seconds to vote.
If you don’t have time to research the issues, vote anyway – it’s your duty.
You might take a Mad Magazine approach with Montstrous Gerunds and mix art with the message:
Exercising your right to vote (with appropriate drawing).
@Charles ‘do what the rest of the world can’t’???? REALLY??
I really really hope you were trying to be funny.
It affects you. It really does matter. VOTE!
If it really was no big matter, why would they spend so much money? It is a big deal. Pay attention or pay the price. VOTE!
If you can’t read this sign, DON’T Vote.
Voting has zero calories and is fat-free.
Yall better vote now, ya hear?!
“If voting changed anything, they’d make it illegal.” – Emma Goldman
“It only encourages them.”
“Don’t blame me, I didn’t vote for them!” – George Carlin
Oh, encourage them TO vote. I got nothing.

Please may we rely upon your vote, that would be rather spiffing old bean.
Vote.
And earn the right to whine and criticize for four years.
How about “Do you really want Romney as your president?”
Angry about something? VOTE!
Heaven help all of us if slogans really do anything but pump up the people who would have voted for you anyway.
If you don’t vote, you shouldn’t be allowed to complain.
