What is your favourite summertime movie?

I like the Friday the Thirteenth series. Most of them take place in the Summer. Camping and cabins, along with cheesy eighties fashion has become synonymous with happiness to me because of Jason. :D

Some Like It Hot.
It actually takes place during spring, but all with Florida, the beach, and such it reminds me of summer.

Steel Magnolias.

These aren’t my favorite movies, but they definitely make you think of summer.

“Stand By Me” (1986) – set in the summertime, and I think many people have a period in their youth (not necessarily when they were twelve!) that they remember quite strongly.

“The Endless Summer” (1966) – beach, waves, and surfers. Can’t get any more summer-like than this.

Badlands is right up there.
