Is having an upset stomach common when you don't get enough sleep?

Yes. If you aren’t getting enough sleep, you get stressed out, which lowers your immune system, and then, tummy hurts.

I think anything is possible when you don’t get enough sleep. Some people have sensitive stomachs and any sort of break from routine or stress their tummy reacts. Lack of sleep is stressful. Stressful physically and mentally.

@wundayatta Interesting. It happens to me all of the time (when I don’t get enough sleep).

If you’re exhausted, you’ll be getting error messages from everything.

Continued lack of sleep can make you eat more and gain weight. Overeating can upset the stomach.

I definitely get an upset stomach from lack of sleep. Plus a splitting headache (I’m a pansy).
