If you were a genre of music, what genre would you be?

If I were a genre of music, I’d have a multiple personality. Too many favorites: classical, folk, musicals, spirituals, jazz, country, international, opera, Beatles, (in no particular order.)

I love the romantic songs of Gershwin, and the 30’s and 40’s. I love the rock of the 60’s, and much of the early punk songs. I love reggae. However, I was a genre of music, it probably wouldn’t be any of those.
I would probably be zydeco. It is just so different…

Acoustic rock, like Buffalo Springfield or Jesse Colin Young. Energetic but not electric.

Probably baroque.

Tie between bluegrass and old Italian music.

Changes.

Jazz, classical, world—whatever it is, it has to change, and it has to be improvised. Of course, middle eastern modalities totally rock my soul. If you heard me sing that way, you’d be totally moved in your soul, too.

Reggae for the message; jazz for the feel.

A mix of chill out and deep house.

Pop rock or hard rock. I like the blues as well as some country.

Not any one kind of music. I would have to say different sorts of music for my different moods. Sometimes the quiet piano music of Erik Satie sometimes the harsh beautiful music of Frank Zappa and sometimes the traditional Scottish music of home.

Oh my… I would be a strange combination of rock, classical and alternative, I think. Hahaha, I’d be a musical multiple personality.

Pop, because i’m popular amongst my peers, slightly shallow, but infectious & fucking happy.

I’m creepy old zombie movie music. Slightly disturbing, but not enough to stand out so much other than to those who like me. I’m also kinda crazy.
I have no idea what genre that piece is, but I chose that.
