How can i stop emails from deleting in yahoo.mail when i delete from my iphone ?

i use yahoo mail and it is compatible with the iphone but when i delete my email from my phone it deletes them from the yahoo inbox (on the website) as well – how can i prevent this?

Configure it as a regular POP account instead of IMAP or ‘Yahoo’ account. To do that, you have to select ‘Other’ when you create a new account, instead of ‘Yahoo’ and then select the POP option (it’ll give you IMAP, POP and Exchange as options)
