(NSFW) Have you ever been to this San Francisco event?

It’s called the masturbate-a-thon, and all I really know is that it’s to raise money for AIDS research and treatment. Is it true that this charity really hosts masturbating contests in front of big crowds? Have you participated? What was the ratio of men to woman? Did you have fun? What else can you tell me?

I’d be interested in coming to an event like that.
Can I come alone or do I have to be part of a circle?
If there was such an event being held in the Netherlands, and I was invited, I am not sure if I would come.
If I were to attend such an event, all the men would have to fuck off until my turn was done.
I’m incapable of gaining, let alone sustaining an erection in the company of other blokes, just not going to happen.
I admire those who can “pull it off” though.
No, but I’ve seen pictures.
@rebbel There is a masturbate-a-thon in the Netherlands.
Let’s just say that if someone told me there was such a thing as a “masturbate-a-thon”, I would have bet money that such an event was held in none other than good ol’ San Francisco, the craziest city on earth :)
But yes, this event is very real: http://www.masturbate-a-thon.com/
It wasn’t in front of big crowds. There were male only areas and female only areas and couples areas. No videoing. Also, that link was for 2011. Here’s 2012.
The 2012 announcement says:
Part of the room blocked off for women only, another area for men only; the larger part of the room will have all genders. A stage at one side will feature entertainment off and on through the day. Most participants say they attend the Masturbate-a-Thon because they love to masturbate and want to be in a space that validates that; others say they are so nervous about doing it, that they realize it might really help them break through fears.
If space allows, a voyeur section may also be included. Please see CSC’s Twitter feed on May 27 for updates: @CentrSexCulture.
Whatever.
Unless I go crazy (which is possible), you won’t see me there in 2013.
