If we can come up with materials like carbon fiber, wrinkle resistant clothes, or even stain repellant clothes, why can't we come up with a material that keeps cars clean and bird-poop repellant?

there are materials out there that protect and seal paint finishes. Some of them make it really easy to wipe off dried bug guts and bird poo. Check with a local detail shop. It runs about $300. To have it put on.
Try living by the beach. We have a seagull cleansing every time my son comes home from school. Record so far is about 10 hits in 5 days. Can’t wait ‘til squid season. Then he washes it and the pigeons here poop on it. We were wondering if the color of his car had anything to do with it.
We have it’s called a garage….
@boffin..the birds where I live aren’t that selective. They hit in parking lots, while driving, or whenever the spirit moves them, just like dirt and bugs.
wax, water and soap.
Permaplate does wonders in keeping that finish.
My car has been deliberately targeted by birds – at least twice!
