Is there a special method to calculate fast in your head?

I pretend like I’m writing the formula down on a piece of paper in my head.
I use these tricks a lot. It helps a lot in math class and in real-world applications.
I say it to myself as I picture the problem in my head.
learning to use an abacus will allow you to visualize math calculations easily.
You need the Trachtenberg Speed System. It allows you to do multiplication and division on any number no matter how big with out having to count to more than 11.
I usually look for what the calculation is close to. For example. If I have to take 31% of 98 I say that is close to 1/3 of 100 or 33.3. That usually gets me close enough.

This method won’t get you close it will get you spot on.
