How to put contacts in for the persistent blinker?
I recently got some colored contacts and attempted to put them in my eye. I’ve been trying for two hours straight! The frusturation is so annoying considering I blink every time I even get close. Any tips?

I put the contact on my right index finger, then with my left hand pull my upper eyelid up and with my right middle finger pull my lower eyelid down, then insert. You’re gonna keep trying to blink, the key is to pull your eyelids apart far enough that it doesn’t matter.
I’m not a persistent blinker, but I never could put a contact into my eye; I totally failed.
Similar to @Aethelflaed‘s method, but add that once you have the contact positioned on the index finger, then prop either the thumb, or some other finger(s) of the hand with the contact, on your face to keep it steady. You’ll be using just the muscles of the hand to control applying the contact lens and you can be far more comfortable and confident instead of having to steady your arm and wrist and hand.
When I first got contacts, it took me a good three hours to get them in the first time. You just have to be extremely persistant and try for as long as it takes. With time, it becomes effortless. It now takes me about three seconds to get them in!
