Clove oil is used by dentists and you should be able to find it in a Walgreens. It is incredibly effective. Be careful not to use to much or you will go into a coma that can result in organ shutdown and death so be careful!!!
OK, I will dab a bit on with an earbud. Thanks!
no problem. happy to help
A friend just suggested stuffing a bit of bread there until I get clove oil. Amazingly enough it helped!
yeah it distracts your brain from the pain so it doesn’t feel it as much
Sounds like you lost a filling ( the bread trick ), so see if you can find some dental wax to fill the hole and keep the air off it. Orajel® will also deaden the nerves.
VODKA – or any other spirit to numb the pain – someone confirm I’m not talking outta my ass please
<—- is a dentist- @fremen_warrior You are not talking out your ass- however, @Zephra may give herself an unintentional nerve death of the tooth- which would require a root canal, so, don’t put spirits directly onto the tooth. Maybe get drunk. ( sounds like might be a root canal anyway)...
People in India hold camphor there in mouth to relieve of pain; it’s a local remedy. You may try it.
Go to pharmacology paragraph on the page linked above to find out more.
Today I found out that you can get DIY filling stuff from chemists. My friend is using it after she broke her tooth but can’t get to the dentist in the near future to get it fixed. If the pain s caused by decay it may be worth trying.
I came to suggest clove oil. It works wonderfully! Get to the dentist as soon as you can, though.
Did you go to the dentist in the end? How was it?
