All you bicyclers I have a question for you (NSFW)

Asked by creative1 (12081points) July 2nd, 2012

I have recently heard that people who like biking have more sex, so it prompted this question…. Is it true, do people who enjoy biking have more sex??

I am intrigued here please let me know.

More sex than what? I have sex daily but don’t bike. Let that be a ‘standard’ and we’ll check against it with the bicyclists.

I think you might be able to make a connection with those who are more active since they have more energy, but I also know some lazy mofos who are very sexually active, so who knows.

I bike quite a lot and I have sex about 4–5 times a week. I don’t think that’s more sex than anyone else experiences.

As @jonsblond said, it ‘s true but only in the context that people who are in shape tend to have sex more than the general population.

There is actually a bit of a problem for male cyclists that don’t have the right seat or a properly fitted bike and seat position. Pressure on the perineum can cause erectile dysfunction and numbness.

I don’t think it has anything to do with biking, but maybe exercise. My sex life is more intense when I regularly exercise because my mood is better and my stamina is better.

I spoke to the wife about this & she said that I can ride & pump all day long.
I wonder what she means ;¬}

If my guy lived closer I would be having a lot more sex. ;p lol. And I bike quite a bit, like at least 30–40 miles a week.

My urologist said there are two types of serious male bike riders: those with erectile dysfunction and those that will have erectile dysfunction.
I drive a car so I have no data either way.

Aaaaaa, I have lots of sex already. But than, I only ride 1.5 miles to work and back.

I also had the impression that bike riding could be bad for sexual functioning

@choreplay Presumably you want to continue enjoying the former. Hopefully you don’t have one of those hard seats that flosses your butt cheeks while crushing your precious pudendal nerve.
Get a gel seat. Or you might end up needing a gel device from the local adult shop. ;)

I bike a medium amount—between forty and 60 miles a week. I don’t have much sex—with anyone else, that is.

Hmmm, You know, didn’t realize. Thanks for the heads up. Ya, definitely want to protect my ability to continue that.

I bike quite a bit but I do not care for sex much.
