You can’t. Only moderators can.
What…? What question would you remove if you could??
I guess you could say questions are like turds. Once they’re out, there’s no going back.
thats the worst comparison evr
[Moderator says]: If you flag your own question you will see a window that lists checkboxes and reason for the flag; check “other” and in the comment window indicate that you no longer want the question posted, and we’ll remove it.
@ sndfreQ; ok so since I’m on iphone how do I flag my question?
…wonder how many questions will be removed now that that’s out?
and AstroC…..I’m really shocked at your answer! Go to your room and think about it!
NOW!
It should have been “like putting Ipana back in the tube”. That would have been just swell. Now go wash out your potty mouth with a bar of Life Buoy soap!
Sorry Mommy. I’ll take my time out now.
so how do I flag my own iphonic question
No, AC, time outs weren’t invented yet. Just go to your room so that I can go to mine and laugh at your answer.
Just got home and tried to figure out…as delirium mentions in the next (same) question, you can’t do it on the iPhone mobile version of fluther, because that feature has not yet been implemented into the code.
You can flag from the standard version of the site; trick is, you can get to the same question in the standard view via a renaming of the URL.
Step one: locate your original question and enter the discussion (click on it);
Step two: click on the URL window at the top of the screen, and change only the “i.gatekeeper” to “www.” Make sure to leave the rest of the URL intact (don’t change the “http://” and don’t change everything from ”.fluther.com/” etc.
Reload the page with that URL, and you should see the iPhone mobile version replaced by the standard PC version. From there, you will be able to flag away.
nice one wizard-good call on that alt. solution.
It’s just hard to get it to stay in that version. It likes to switch back =/
Ah, ok, the key is to not click ‘home.’ If you click home it transfers you to the mobile version. You can still view the recent questions on the right-side of the page.
you are so aptly named my friend!
Thank you, by the way this is my first day here on Fluther. I’ve spent, say, eight hours straight on Fluther now. I’m doing my best to learn about it too.
Welcome to Fluther Wizard!
