How do you know, definitively, that you are in fact, a loser?
Is there a personal checklist you have or some concept that you hold as a benchmark so that you will know when you have hit rock bottom?
Have you passed through that checkpoint and bounced back?

I have my own personal checklist. It isn’t applied to anyone else. I also won’t share it with anyone. What I’ve found in life is that people value my life for a vast variety of reasons. They also judge me for what they perceive as faults. If I obey the laws of where I choose to live and hold true to my personal beliefs, then that is all that matters.
I’ve never felt that way. I’m pretty good with personal dignity though I’ve hit rock bottom. I knew it because I didn’t move off the bed but it wasn’t my doing, chemical issue.
My attitude is no matter how low you go, you aren’t a looser till you quit. I don’t quit.
@ETpro I was tryna think of something until I read that. I mean, people may confirm my loserdom for me, but only really I know if I’m a loser or not. I think, anyways. In my mind I easily know when I’m being a loser or not, despite what others say, but it’s harder to explain in words. Your answer will do until I can figure it out lol.
Also, I know I’m a loser when it says game over. But bitches, I gox me some extra credit yah! Like a zombie man, just don’t give up until you get your fuckin head blown off! :D
Because the facts and results speak for themselves! I just look around and then it’s bitterly confirmed!
@Symbeline Ha. Thanks. And that’s where men have an advantage. Two heads. The only problem is we evolved with just enough blood to use one of ‘em at a time. :-)
I know that I’m not a loser… as long as I get up again after each failure. Someday that won’t be possible, but… so far, so good.
The only thing that truly makes one a “loser” is to be a lying, deceptive, antisocial type that exploits anyone or anything for personal gain, has no conscience and deliberately seeks to do harm. I have said for a long time now, one of my jokes, that as long as you aren’t a sociopath everything else can be worked on. lol
@Coloma You realize that your standard makes many of this nation’s wealthiest families a bunch of loosers? Not disagreeing. Just sayin…
@ETpro But of course, and most politicians and corporate bigwigs…pass the Grey Poupon you slimy tricksters you! lol
@Coloma OT, but that’s an awesome new avatar. I may have a strange set of dreams tonight.
If you really were a loser, would you know? I’m guessing we’re pretty good at deceiving ourselves on this score…
I’m sure I’ve been loser-like at some point in my life, but I never felt that way. Even when I was suicidal, it wasn’t because I thought I was a loser.
I don’t like myself when I’m not moving toward some goal. If I’m doing things that move me further away from my goal, or even worse, stagnate me, then I am a loser.
In my mind, making a mess of things is much more acceptable than doing nothing. Ceasing to move or try is death. I’ve really made huge mistakes in the past (recently) but I don’t regret them because that is definitely growth.
Though, fudgesticks, I wish growing was easier.
