Lately I’ve been craving a lot of spicy foods and lemons lately… When I eat spicy food or put spicy sauce on anything I put it on so much it makes my eyes tears and mouth burns. When I eat lemons I eat about 4 or 5 wholes of them at a time… I’ve been craving spicy food as well for the past 2 weeks. What in the world is the deal? I’m not pregnant so what can it mean? I’ve had urges or lemons before too in my past, like years ago randomly.

Hmm… Innaresting. Maybe it’s body wisdom because you are on the brink of some kind of infection. Lemons and red chili peppers have a good amount of Vitamin C in them. Good for the health!
Also, hot food is just dope.
Personally I think both things are sort of addictive. When I get on a lemon kick I want it on everything. Lots of lemon with salt, yummmmm! I like it on pork ribs, jicama, tuna salad, breaded meat, onions, in mexican chicken soup, I could go on and on. Spicy sort of the same thing. It’s like the more you eat, the more you want to eat ajd the hotter you can eat it. Not sure why? But, that has been my experience.
Gosh, lemon cookies, lemon squares, and lemon cake too. Love those.
It’s an immaculate conception of a Hispanic monkey. You just don’t have enough hormones to show up on a pregnancy test yet.
Maybe you’re turning into me because I love those things. I agree with @JLeslie that those things (which include salsa and anything with peppers or cumin or other super spicy foods, like Indian food) are also somewhat addictive because of the endorphin rush that you get by eating them.
My current addiction is hot and spicy peanuts!
You’ve developed a subcutaneous jealousy for the soup I am making tomorrow. :)
@AshLeigh Boy, that looks good. I bet it smells divine too : P
You live above an Indian takeaway?
@bookish! That looks so yummy! I wish I could smell it through the computer : )
@Kardamom : It is indeed :) It’s a mix of sour, spicy, and bitter.
