Is the T-Shirt Contest what has spiked questions per day through the roof?

Is it the T-Shirt contest? Just a few hours away from Fluther, and there were two whole pages of questions in my “Just for you” list. This is extraordinary!
Are we all that hot for a Fluther T-Shirt? Or do we just have a ton of new members joining up and overflowing with new, never-before asked questions?

I agree, it’s fun! Just wish I had more time to sit and answer questions more thoroughly. I think the t-shirt contest helped and sparked it, but I don’t care if I win a t-shirt, I’m just enjoying the activity!
I thought about writing some questions for the contest but en I thought that if I wanted a t shirt I could buy one. I did have a dream that I met Auggie and she gav me one though, as a prize for finding he fluther lair.

I’m just ticked at how many letters my iPad just missed and it’s to late to edit! yikes it tried to auto correct iPad to Japan. WTF?

I hope the contest has inspired our regulars to ask more questions, but we’ve gotten a lot of new people, too. Not sure where they’re coming from, but I’m happy to see them!
I’ve definitely asked more questions because of the contest even though as a mod I can’t actually win it. But that doesn’t matter, mods get a Fluther shirt anyway.
I think it’s the challenge, I thought I didn’t care about the t-shirt, but the activity sparked my interest: 5 days, eight questions, really! whoa! Wow!
@augustlan I’m sure it’s having an effect. Second day of 2 pages of Just for You questions. I’ve been here a few years, and that has never happened before. But some of them are from new members, and that’s an additional thrill. Hopefully, the improved social media share (it’s back to working with Facebook more often than not) is bringing in some new members.
@fundevogel Me too. Keeps the pond water from getting stagnant.
@downtide Me too. I only managed to ask 1 today, and it was work related. But that’s on a day when two existing clients both managed to blow their websites up and needed a lifeline. Aside from lunch, I was on the clock from 10:03 AM yesterday to 1:16 AM today! That’s a long day for a man my age, and I still got in 1 question.
