How does diplomacy not come first in movies instead of violence?
What movies exist that show diplomacy with a super-villain over violence and force?

Any narrative, any work of fiction needs conflict, drama… the question should perhaps be why does diplomacy not come first, rather than violence, in the real world, I think.
Film makers think that a slap round the chops (minimum violence) scores far more highly that a limp handshake obviously.
I can’t think of any film that portrays diplomacy as the way forward possibly because as @lillycoyote says real life always has closed doors, behind which one hopes the handshakes win over the kick in the kidneys!
