Has the NZ comedy/drama Outrageous Fortune aired in the US, how has it been received?

Someone just asked a question and there was mention of a NZ drama called The Almighty Johnsons , I was curious as to whether you have been lucky enough to see another one of our productions, the oh so fabulous Outrageous Fortune ?

It looked familiar so did a quick search.

They tried to remake it here in the US twice apparently. I’m not sure if either was as good as the original (I haven’t seen any of them).

The US remakes were

@funkdaddy they never should have played around with the original, it was an excellent series without need of redoing, why do people insist on fixing what ain’t broken, some things just deserve to be left alone. Thanks for the links : ^)
