Who had the first lurve party?

I dunno. I just went through a TON of old questions and didn’t find anything that jumped out at me as the “first lurve party”. I kinda figured it would be gailcalled, but I don’t know that for sure. :)

Good Lord. I hope JP’s 11111 was not the first one, because I would hate to bear the responsibility for starting such things. 11111 is cool. 10k, not so much.

I’m guessing it was either gailcalled or marinelife. It definitely wasn’t me. I’m pretty sure that they started before I got here, but not positive.

@johnpowell I’m not sure I thought it would last, either. But I did think it was cool and you know how people sometimes like to have their little bits of fun confirmed by others. But I don’t think this was how the 10K parties got started. Obviously, you would have had to have passed ten k before getting to 11111. Do you remember having a party?

I think I was the first to 10K, if not 10K I was the first to 20K. It was one of those. And that is here.

edit :: Supermouse said “Welcome to the 10,000 Club” so I assume I wasn’t the first. So I was first on 20K.

There were parties for a certain 6 year old that came pretty early too. Haven’t seen him around here in ages.
