What projects are you in the working on right now?

Oh shit. I can’t believe you asked this! I picked up a broom skirt at Goodwill. It’s kind of African, lots of browns and neat pattern. However, the bottom 4 inches is a bright, bright blue and I don’t like it. I found some brown cotton material—it’s actually the edges of those sheet things you put between matresses. I just cut a bunch off…but I am having a HELL of a time trying to figure out how to sew it on straight. Finally started making some headway..and realized I hadn’t cut enough of the brown material off, so I’m short. I just put every thing away. SO frustrating.

Now I’m trying to figure out how to hang my mister across the back deck. I got all hung up on using zip ties….just realized just about anything will do. Baggie ties, wire, whatever.

So I’m working on that now.

Training for a 200 mile cycle fundraiser in two weeks.
Almost to the painting phase of finishing 1000 sq ft of my house.
Working on a technical certification.
Half done with a deck refinishing (railings done). 32×16 decking to go.
Leaving work stuff out.

There are clothes strewn all over my apartment and no one to put them away but me. That will take a while

I spent hours today taking practically everything out of my closet and then reorganizing the whole thing. I threw away two trash bags full of trash and things I didn’t need! My room is still a WIP though, I have stacks and stacks of books on my floor (too many books, not enough space!) that I want to read or re-read, and I just have a lot of stuff in general. It’s getting there, though!

My big work in progress is restoring my Leclerc Fanny II loom. I’m saving money to buy parts.

I’m making replica 1959 cadillac tail fins out of styrofoam. Why? It’s a weird story. Anyway I should have them very near completion in 2 days.

I’m working on being a less shitty person.

Horror movie website, which features mostly reviews for now, but will have other stuff like articles. It’s really slow going because I don’t know much at all about maintaining a website, but some progress is getting done. Don’t know when it will be up. I’d also like to offer news, such as upcoming movies and conventions and stuff, which, at this point, seems like an entirely different project on its own. I don’t actually know if I can pull this off, lots of other stuff in my life, but it certainly is a plan.
