My Apple earphones don’t have any warranty. Do you have Apple earphones?

Yes they have warranty, but the odds of them malfunctioning vs. being damaged are quite remote and damage would not be covered.

They’re $30, come on now.

$30 is a lot to some people. It wouldn’t hurt to ask. Call and ask them if they are covered under warranty. The worst thing they can say is no.

$30 is too much to pay for them by themselves….there are far better options available.

i had a pair replaced no questions asked by apple – they were under my iPhone warranty. Btw – can anyone recommend a good alternative (w/ a built on mic) to the iPhone headphones?

If you can get something for free, why would you pay for it?...besides I already bough two sets FOR JUST $30.00

crunchaweezy's avatar

Well I wouldn’t spend $500–600 on a phone if $30 headphones were alot to me.

usually if you take your earphones in and have your phone they will replace them free of charge, as long as you have the phone to check the serial number

like I said. I already paid for two… And didn’t paid $500 for my iPhone

Alot of us however paid $600 initially, and after the $100 store credit, slimmed the price down to $500.

That’s like saying, you’re going to buy a Mercedes Benz, and not be willing to fix the radio if it were damaged.

Hell, they arent made to last forever, I’ve personally bought 4–5 pairs so far, I also am kind of a “clear sound” freak if that’s what you want to call it. After long periods of use, the headphones get partially distorted.
