Is it possible to copy/paste a menu, let's say under the right click for example?

Asked by flo (13313points) August 3rd, 2012

Or do you have to do a screen shot?
Here the question that got me looking for the “refresh“under the right-click. I right clicked in an empty space and on a link and on Fluther.com they are not all the same.

As far as i know you need a screenshot (though if you’re on a windows 7 machine there’s a very handy function called the ‘snipping tool’ that makes it much better). And yeah, right-click menus are also known as ‘context menus’, because they change based on the context.

@BhacSsylan thanks. But where is this “refresh” that’s supposed to be there? I don’t find it no matter what I’m right-clicking on.

Usually it’s on the desktop or a file folder

@BhacSsylan if I right-click on a link, the list is: “Open”, “Open in a tab” etc. , all the way to “Properties” if I right click on an empty space, but not in this dialog box, it is “Previous”, etc. ....all the way to “Properties”, and on and on. So under what do I have to right-click to find “Refresh”?

Try right clicking on the desktop background screen, that pulls up a refresh option for me.

@PhiNotPi our posts above crossed each other Okay the background screen is the homepage of the place I’m using, not the usual blue. Thanks, I will return with more.

No, try the background of your desktop. Clicking inside any other program (unless it’s a file folder) will probably not have a refresh (most browsers say ‘reload’, for instance). Like so: Desktop vs Browser

@BhacSsylan I tried the background (there is only an inch wide black background) I get:
“Reorganize the icons by” .... “New”,“Properties”. But if we go back to the OP thank you you answered it, thank you. But Screen shot is too many steps I find.
