Not on here in the SF Bay Area. NBC could have shown it live.
@zenvelo NBC online is showing the BBC coverage.
Watching it here – we’re all sat round, drinking wine (I’m on tea) after a yummy Sunday roast! And you’re very welcome to come stay – though London is about 5/6 hours away…
Cheers from over here in Canada, @harple !!!
Watching :D
And yeah, British music is the best.
I am buying this.
Really, I just purchased it.
@ MW..I’m getting all caught up in it. lol
I’m a quarter Welsh. heehee and we do have British relatives.
Allright, I’ll stop. lol
I hope that you all are dancin’!
Yay, i know. I’m jacked up over here. lol!
Spice Girls all help up well. lol
Freddie made me cry…
I loved all the performances, but Muse has been my fav so far.
LISTEN UP WORLD!!
WE WILL ROCK YOU!!
GREAT BRITAIN WILL ROCK YOU!!
You call tell that the States aren’t covering the ceremonies, yet. lol
Okay, now it’s over and I’m bummed. Oh, well…
I watched it. Thought Wish You Were Here was the best part.
I feel mildly depressed now.
Well, we were dancing and singing in Philly. Shed a tear or two, as well. Especially at the handover to Rio. Met all kinds of new people. Who is Jessie J? I loved the taxis for the Spice Girls. Thought they still look pretty hot. In fact, most of those dancers looked pretty hot. You Brits know how to put on a show.
Always look on the bright side of life!
What were they thinking? I think it was horrible. She ruined “We Will Rock You. I must be showing my age because I wasn’t impressed with any of the production. Did you notice the steering wheels were on the American side in the first set of Bentleys? What did the octopus represent?
I did notice about the steering wheels. I have no idea what the octopus meant. And none of it mattered. I’m probably older than you, @bkcunningham, and I liked “We WIll Rock You” and the rest of the production. It was great fun. Don’t forget, all those old dudes are in their 70s and they can’t sing those songs any more. Those are songs for young vocal cords.
Why is that guy doing an impression of Rumpole of the Bailey imitating Churchill?
And how much did Rupert Murdoch pay to have all that stuff covered in “newspaper”?
I thought Adam Lambert was going to be the lead singer for Queen. What happened?
@bkcunningham I thought it was horrible that she sung We Will Rock You. So wrong :(
I loved it. My favourite bits were Eric Idle and Brian May! You can definitely stay with me, I’m just over an hours drive from London and 10 mins from Stone Henge.
