A heartfelt thank you to everyone for the recognition, especially @mazingerz88 for hosting this.
There is so much I have learned from being a member here on Fluther. Whether it is a matter of busting some old myths, being exposed to topics never encountered, or just hearing about others’ perspectives, it is all valuable. I just hope that some of my interaction has been able to pay it forward to others.
@Mama_Cakes Right back at ‘cha. I hope to someday talk you into heading my way to provide some interior design advice. I admire your style.
@Adirondackwannabe The career in pest control took on another meaning when I joined Fluther. Just ask any moderator how much I flag spammers. :) Every time you post about your neck of the woods, it brings back fond memories of visiting there as a child.
@mazingerz88 Our inquisitive Jelly friend…some day, you will have to enlighten us about what you do with all of the information collected by your questions. In the meantime, beads and boas for all!
@Lightlyseared Thank you! May we some day meet in person for a cuppa on British soil.
@Judi Girl, you have been a member twice as long as I have. Doesn’t time fly? Just promise us that you won’t leave. Your insight on so many subjects is invaluable to the collective.
@erichw1504 While not a fan of sarcasm, how can anyone not laugh at your less serious posts? Thank you for all of the day brighteners.
@Pandora Technically, 20K is a move out of the mansion and into the castle. I’ll see if there are two rooms on the same floor for us. We can use two tin cans and a bit of string to secretly plot out some pranks.
@WestRiverrat Thank you friend. The green snake avatar has become a symbol of logic in my book.
@zensky I suspect that much credit for this milestone is due to you and you and you…Morph all you want, but it wouldn’t be Fluther without your essence. You know when to be serious and when to play. That’s a rare characteristic and one that is valued.
@Trillian Who is catering? I have no clue. If need be, I’m sneaking over to Coloma’s for some cheese and wine. Care to join me? In the meantime, thank you for the insights you have shared. Specifically, one documentary.
@creative1 Thank you for the kind words. More importantly, thank you for the the insightful answers.
@marinelife Oh, how I love that starfish avatar. It always precedes a solid opinion.
@_Whitetigress Thank you. Fluther is lucky in that you have hung on in your short time here. The questions you ask cover a wide range. I admire that in a Jelly.
@bkcunningham Thank you. You are another Jelly that I admire for the ability to be serious when need be and know when to play.
@JLeslie I look forward to your answers as well. It seems like we have the same goals in mind and just take different paths to get there. I find it enlightening to read your perspectives. May we some day meet at the local grocery store.
@jca You are too kind. Some of my answers are so way off base that it is embarrassing. Maybe you just missed them. :)
@mangeons Thank you. You are one of the members that never ceases to dazzle me with your intelligence and sense of logic.
@cprevite Thank you, my friend.
@Hawaii_Jake My hope is to one day travel to your neck of the woods. Nothing would make me happier than giving you a big hug. And eating a proper pineapple, but that comes second.
Thank you @DrBill. Fluther members benefit from your contributions. I know that I do.
@TheIntern55 Cute post! A dog’s celebration, no matter how minor, always brings a smile.
@picante Thanks friend…your post made me smile.
@syz Just keep educating us on animal behavior, and we will eventually learn that you have all of the answers.
@YARNLADY Thank you. May you never become a hotel inspector…none would pass. Just keep the ones you stay in on their toes. Your expectations are what should be the norm.
Thanks @Symbeline. You are the one we all would flock to in order to survive a zombie invasion, a.k.a. reality.
@MilkyWay Back at you! I’d attempt to fix you up with one of my single nephews, but none of them are worthy. :)
@augustlan Thank you for the compliment. It means a lot coming from you. It often feels like I fail frequently, especially after reading back on some of the posts. For me, Fluther is a place to learn, and you have not only been a great teacher, but a wonderful mentor.
@Kayak8 Your post has made me a bit weepy. You and I have such different lives, and yet there is something about you that makes me feel like you could be a lifelong friend if we were ever to meet.
@Kardamom Gracious almighty woman. There are no words to describe how fabulous that post is. All I can say is that you have been an inspiration in many ways here on Fluther. The culinary tips rank top, but it doesn’t stop there. Thank you.
@filmfamm Another thank you for furthering my education. You have such insight on many topics that are not my forte, and probably not that of others as well.
@tedibear I always enjoy reading your questions and answers. P.S How is the new job going?
@Bellatrix If there is going to be a congo line, it will be on a cruise ship over to Australia. Prepare for the invasion. Can you imagine a busload of Jellies on a trek to Uluru?
