In the video, there’s a lot of tension/build-up. I got totally see why the viewer thought that, haha..

@josie, I have seen the first video several times. It is very funny. The second video was a first for me. I laughed until I cried. At times I forgot that the hands weren’t the dogs. The guy with the broholmer was excellent. That was hilarious. Thanks for posting.

Hearing my 57 year old born-again mother say “butt hurt” a few days ago, when talking about my father and his tendency to whine when he doesn’t get what he wants.
“He acts all butt-hurt when I don’t call him back quickly…”
My brothers and I have CommuniTuesday. We’re on season three of Community, disc two, and it’s awesome. There are many laughs to be had tonight.
My brother’s friend who is a really funny person. I don’t laugh a lot, but he really made me laugh for real.
My dog and I were laying on the futon about to nap, and while lying there I felt something cold underneath me and it was a penny. So I tried to flick it off the bed but it shot toward her and it zipped just over her nose and followed the top of it and went up her forehead? And stopped on top of her head. She shook her head and it slid down one of her ears and fell back on the bed where she sniffed it and went back to relaxing, paying it no mind. It was one of those “you had to have been there” but I thought that was funny.
I wonder what kind of difference we have here. I didn’t think any of the dog videos or photos was funny. I felt sorry for the dogs (and kitten) and thought the humans were jerks. The dogs-in-a-restaurant gag was clever and probably well done, but I couldn’t watch more than a minute or so—it was repetitive and boring.
So I guess our humor meters are really differently calibrated.
I laughed at myself this week, when I was standing in the hallway waiting to be taken into the courtroom where I had jury duty. We were standing there for quite awhile and I looked up on the wall and noticed a couple of nice photos of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. I was thinking to myself at the time, that it was really nice and maybe the court had a liberal bent, or they just liked these two guys. I was a little loopy after having sat in a hard seat for 7 hours before going into the court.
It was only later, when I was telling my brother about the photos, that it dawned on me that all courts display photos of the current President and V.P., no matter who they are. It wasn’t just a nice gesture, after all.
