Any good songs for a Halloween party?

Asked by Silence04 (4718points) August 31st, 2012

I am having a Halloween party in a couple months and have been trying to build a good music playlist. I have about 50 songs or so added, just trying to think of other good songs that could work. No limits on genre, just as long as it is spooky sounding and suitable for a party for people in their 20s-30s.

Some songs I’ve got:
Michael Jackson – thriller
Iron madien – mark of the beast
Rob Zombie – dragula
Screaming Jay – I put a spell on you
Squirrel nut zipper – hell
Blue oyster cult- don’t fear the reaper
Yeah yeah yeahs – heads will roll
Type o negative – black no. 1
Alice Cooper – feed my Frankenstein

The nightmare before christmas soundtrack is a no brainer.

Mix in the Nightmare Revisited album (with soundtrack songs covered by the likes of Marilyn Manson, Korn and Rise Against) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightmare_Revisited

Monster Mash is a classic, gotta have that. I also highly recommend ‘Full Moon’ by Sanata Artica. It’s about a werewolf. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQghSEl0hHQ

Bauhaus’ “Bela Lugosi’s Dead”? Not sure why, but it might fit. It’s one of their worst songs, but it’s still Bauhaus, so it isn’t all bad.
