I remember that,too – I wonder if it was eventually removed because of some issue with violence?

@wundayatta: Yes… it asked about whether a woman’s hands were big enough to cover the mouth, and I seem to think it also asked for women to respond.

The fact that the asker has commented to people via PM also seems familiar; which was why we started to wonder if there was some odd motivation behind the question.

@chyna and @syz: I’m glad to know I’m not totally losing my marbles!! Is this the first time either of you remember seeing the question resurface?

It was the same guy who asked both questions, I’m positive. The first question also resulted in the asker sending creepy PMs to people, and we ended up banning him. The original question was probably removed because of that.

He came back a couple of times shortly after the first Q, but was caught immediately. After a long absence, I guess he decided to try again!

@hearkat Yes, other than the first time, waaay back in time where this question was first asked and the asker then started pming everyone that answered. What a creepy question.

Trolls are weird.

I don’t really mind trolls like this. He’s a bit creepy, but he was also creative. I wish we could have cut him some slack and tried to train him how to be a jelly. He was strange, yes, but I think he also had potential. He was creative and clever, even if it had a creepy edge.

But I understand that people around here don’t tolerate creepiness. Unless it is offered by someone who builds a reputation first. If he is reading this. I would recommend that if he tries again, he should spend a few months being a normal person before allowing some of his creepiness out. And when you do show you creepy side, let people know you understand people see this as creepy, and that you are not trying to hurt anyone. You’re just having fun.

Seriously. We had some fun writing to each other. I don’t know if he understood the game I was playing, but I felt no harm from the game he was playing. So I really hope we can learn to be more tolerant. Creeps are people, too. But I understand that they freak out women.
