Maybe NSFW- Seriously, how do you tell if someone has Erectile Dysfunction vs. their partner doesn't turn them on anymore?
Do Doctor’s who prescribe ED treatments do a psychological workup on their patients? How do they tell if a man has a physical problem vs. their wife no longer turns them on?

Easy. If you still get hard and fast erection like you were in college at your present age, you know, the kind where you’re girlfriend could stand on it, then it’s not erectile dysfunction.
Yes, they do try to screen for psychological issues, though since they’re normally prescribed by family doctors, I wouldn’t quite go so far as to call it a “workup”, and having a psychological root doesn’t nessecarily mean you don’t get the pills anyway. But I’d imagine that most men aren’t going to go in to the doctor and admit to what is normally seen as a deeply humiliating condition without watching some porn, Return of the Jedi, and beach volleyball first to see if they really have an issue getting an erection, or just trouble getting an erection from their wife.
If my hubby ever had problems with ED I’d tie him up and masturbate in front of him just to see if he needed medication.
@tranquilsea Can you check me for ED? I’m worried I may have it ;) ... lol
In my case, my erections don’t last nor get as hard as they ought to. The plumbing seems to work, but sometimes at inappropriate times, but as before only for a few seconds. Cap’n Happy pokes his head out to see what’s going on, then goes back into hiding. It’s a side effect of the medication regimen I am on.
It’s probably a safe bet if the man talk to his doctor and also partner then he still wants to have sex with that partner.
