Best Stereo Blasting Songs For The Car?
What are some good, classic songs that are awesome to blast in your car? My car has amazing bass as well.
Right now my favourite is “What Is Love?”
Classic songs like that (well I don’t know how classic that is, but fun classic or whatever).
And please NO RAP and NO COUNTRY! (Nothing personal I just can’t stand it).

I love blasting Led Zep while driving.

Abney Park has a few that I like, and some of them are bass-heavy. While the Billy Idol original of White Wedding also has some bass, I sometimes combine the two by cranking AP’s cover of it.
If I want to test a system, I use Genie by Airbase as it’s a nice Trance cut with plenty of thumping and rumbling, plus a couple of wide-range tone sweeps to reveal dead spots in the frequency response while actually still being a song. (I prefer testing with real music rather than “laboratory condition” test tones.)
But there really aren’t any “classic” songs that I personally would blast… unless you consider old Slayer to be “classic”.
Life in the fast lane ft.eminem, Will smith’s party starter, nickelback ‘burn it to the ground’.
Springsteen! Especially Born in the USA.
ACDC – Hell’s Bell’s or Big Balls
Layla.
Don’t Fear the Reaper.

Radar Love, Golden Earring
Radar Love is hands down the best driving song IMO
It doesnt get any more classic than these two . (and ya feel like a bad ass while you’re driving :P)
Gotta be SWEET HOME ALABAMA!
If you like Beatles, the Abbey Road album has a nice loud, tight bass line (Sir Paul). I used to blast it in my Chevy Nova that had a cavernous trunk, so the 6×9 speakers in the rear deck really resonated.
“Whole Lotta Love”, Led Zeppelin

LA Woman
If you want real classics, personally there’s nothing I love blasting more than the big operatic choruses like the Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore and the Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves from Nabucco. If someone at a stop light rattles my windows and toasts my ears with their rolling boom box, I might crank the volume and let them have it with Verdi.
And then there’s the Helecopter scene from Apocalypse Now, “Ride of the Valkryies. ”
Wagner! Absolutely great for blasting, @Judi.
