this question was inspired by the podcast…some are more obvious than others, but I’m curious, as I am sure others are, to see if I am pronouncing some of them correctly….and as a bonus, how do you pronounce other fluther usernames?
mine is c-kaytrin. catron is my last name and my first initial is c.

I was on the podcast!!! :D
Hmm, klaas is Dutch, so I’m not sure how to tell.
mang + us
Starting sound like mangle.
@ wizard: I thought it was WIIIZZAAARRRRDDD!!!!!!
But I guess I was wrong :[
Only when I’m not busy giving the original pronounciation of the word ‘wizard’.
Seesul is short for Cecil Terwilliger, an obscure Simpsons character. He is Robert Terwilliger’s brother, aka Sideshow Bob. I was using CecilT, but a distant cousin from the south, started emailing me back as Seesul. In my mind, I was pronouncing it as Sessul.
After that, another episode came out (the dynamiting of the dam one, for those of you that follow it), and I listened to see how the writers were pronouncing it. Evidently it is an inside joke for them as well, because different characters in the show pronounce it differently. Officer Wiggum pronounces it Seesul, but I believe it is Bob who uses the more formal (&British version?) Sessul. I’m assuming Bob is correct. but I kept to our “family” version.

Anyone here actually able to read/pronounce the IPA charset?
Most of the time I can guess how to pronounce that. That, and I’ve had to learn those a while ago in class so I recognise how to pronounce some.
Dee-Land.
My brother, whose first name begins with “b” would have to pronounce Bee-Land or it would be just… bland.
Hopefully mine is obvious. My first name is Ann.
Ah-non-nuh-miss Grr-rul :)
I’m sure others must pronounce my screen name how I pronounce it. It’s pretty simple. :)
