Do you put a Christmas tree in each bedroom plus the main room?

I know quite a few people who have a gorgeous Christmas tree in each bedroom. I’d never go to so much effort. Do you and why?

Wow. I’ve never seen nor heard of this before. This is coming from a person who has spent a lifetime visiting the homes of numerous Christians during the holiday. (US citizen here.)
Never, infact I have not even put up a real Xmas tree for over 10 years. I have decorated an indoor palm tree, and the last few years I have just added lights and certain eclectic decor. that looks festive but is not a tree. Last year I created a Xmas alter in front of a black carved oriental screen in my living room. The effect was really nice.
Trees are too much work and after years of doing the mega holiday scene. I like to be creative but I also want the take down to take less than 15 minutes. lol
I haven’t put up a tree in years. I do, however, go to tree stands and take the bits they trim off the bottoms of the trees and make boughs to hang on the walls. Free, easy, smells good, and I don’t have to move the furniture.
I barely find the time and space to put up one tree. I do know people who go all out and put trees in every room of their house. Also know some who spend a fortune on outside lights and decorations. I just don’t have that much time, money, or interest.
I keep a fake Christmas tree in the attic (and have for the past 9 years, since I moved here following our separation). But I haven’t erected it since 2000. (The standing joke between us during the years when I used to erect it was, “This is our best tree ever!”)
Unfortunately, the box of tree ornaments was lost during my cross-country move, and I do regret that, as there were a lot of memories contained in those trinkets: stuff from my own childhood as well as from my children.
No, I don’t do Christmas trees any more.
@CWOTUS Yes, I am about to that point, too. By the time my grandma was my age, she just put up a little table-top version. Maybe I will do that.
I’ve never seen this done or even heard of it. Those must be people with enormous houses and plenty of uncrowded rooms. I am always amazed that we manage to fit one six-foot tree in the living room for a couple of weeks. Just removing one table and a lamp is a challenge. If we added one anywhere else, somebody would have to move out.
We use a few large pine boughs that either the wind has knocked down or the garden guy has sawed off.
Cutting down a live tree upsets everyone in the family, so we no longer do.
@Jeruba no; their homes are not enormous. They’re not 1200 sq ft, no, but they’re not 4K sq feet either. They do their three or four trees plus lots of other decorating like in the kitchen. One reason? They have a “Tour of Homes” before Christmas.
Want a lit tree over 6’ high that takes less than sixty seconds to put up? Cough up hundreds of dollars on QVC. I watched a girl put one up last night. The 7’ model was over $400.
I’d like to have a large door wreath and a small tree. Plus some fireplace mantle decorations.
No, that’s not very poplar around here.
After our kids grew up and out, our Christmas decorations went from an 8 foot tree to a table sized on, to no tree at all. We still play Christmas carols and have a special meal, but that’s it.
My Granddad and his wife put up about nine Christmas trees (fake ones) every year, and I can’t fathom why anyone would need that many!
At my dad’s house we just have one tree, a real one, in the living room where it’s always been. We decorate it with all kinds of ornaments and lights and an angel on top and everything, I figure we don’t need more than one!
At my mom’s house we put up an adorable miniature fake tree on the table in the living room and decorate it with miniature ornaments and a miniature garland, with a crochet angel on top.
I just honestly don’t get the point of having more than one Christmas tree, real or fake!
Nope.
All we use is a teeny tiny little Christmas tree that sits on the coffee table all year.
We put little decorations on him around Christmas time.
