Is this a legitimate app for an Android phone?
I get ads in the notification bar on my Android phone. To “opt-out” from receiving their ads, it said to go to senddroid.com/opt-out to install the app to no longer receive the ads. Is this legit?

I think I know what that one is, and if I am right, no, it isn’t.
My question is what app installed that bit of nastiness. I know I got rid of a few apps that used “push” ads like that.
@jerv I have no idea how it got in there! But I would like it out! Any advice?
If you have to ask, do you really need to ask? Obviously fake.
I will get back to you when I am a bit more lucid. It’s late on a Saturday night, and I have a bottle of rum…
Hi,
My name is Chandler and I work at SendDroid.
We are an ad network and we deliver ads of our Partner Advertisers to your devices through the apps of our Partner Developers. You installed an app that uses us to monetize their inventory.
If you do not want to receive ads from us, simply go to that Opt Out link and follow the instructions for opting out.
You can Opt Out manually or download the App to do it.
Either way, it is legitimate.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Chandler
