Have you read the book or did you watch the opening night of Half the Sky on PBS?

Half the Sky showed it’s first night of two. It was vital, imperative, powerful, moving, and essential.

I can only say all should watch it.

If you saw the first night of the TV film, what did you think?

I watched it with my 14-year-old daughter. We were both struck by the heroic lengths girls and women will go to overcome violence, oppression, and abuse to achieve lives of honor and service and hope.
