What do you think is the best way to mail a tear sheet?
I want to mail a sheet ripped from a magazine to a buddy across the country. What do you think is the best & efficient way to do this?
*I definitely cannot fold the magazine sheet.
Thank you.

If you’re concerned about folding or bending put it/them between a couple sheets of cardboard and put them in a tight fitting, probably legal sized, envelope (the big manilla ones). Add extra sheets or cardboard to keep a tight fit so they don’t shift during shipping. You can also send them priority if you want the extra cost, it should mean less handling/travel time, which would hopefully equate to less chance of being bent.
The cheaper way would be just put them in the envelope write “DO NOT BEND” in big bold print and hope the post office doesn’t fold it to get it into a small delivery box or through the door slot.
Use a 9×12 envelope and use a piece of cardboard for backing. Write Do Not Bend on the envelope.
Many photo shops (that serve professional photographers), sell these envelopes with packing materials and already stamped with messages about bending. Just to make things easy.
Put it inside a bigger magazine that you no longer need or want, then roll it up and wrap it.
What you’re looking for is called a document mailer; they should have them at your local FedEx or UPS offices, or even the post office.
