Where would be a good place to fly kites around Columbus, OH?

Asked by RocketSquid (3486points) October 18th, 2012

I’m looking for a place, preferably around east Columbus (the closer to Whitehall, the better), that won’t mind a couple of 20-somethings flying some cheap kites. I’m afraid I’m not familiar enough with the area to know what fields are open to the public and which ones are private property.
Can you recommend a good place to fly kites?

Tons of places. Dodridge park, Highbanks park, In Grove City there is a place too, but I do not recall what it is called. Gantz park maybe?

I’ve got to suggest Cornhenge (in Dublin). But watch out where you run.
