Early voting starts today in Hawai`i. Do you vote early?
Voting in the majority of states is no longer a one-day affair. It can last a week such as here in Hawai`i or a month like Iowa.
Do you vote early, or do you savor it and wait until election day?

Georgia’s early voting started last week. I voted last Wednesday.
The whole state votes by mail in Oregon. We should be getting our ballots soon. I plan on mailing it back a few days later since it takes a while to read through all the local stuff.
I do not vote early. I vote on election day because I like to bring my kids with me to the polling place.
North Carolina started voting last Thursday. I voted on Saturday with my wife before we had lunch.

Yes. I love early voting. (NC)
I have never voted early, I’m not even really sure how you go about doing that.
The only time I have voted early was when I was going on a business trip on election day. But I like going to the polls, casting my ballot at my precinct. It reinforces to me he responsibility to vote.
I vote on Election Day. I want every minute to watch the candidates self destruct.
I would like to. We are living in a new state, and I have to find out the rules.
We have no early voting in Pennsylvania. We have delayed voting, though, as they try to prevent people from voting by telling them they need id when they don’t.
Sometimes I vote early. Sometimes I don’t. I haven’t voted yet for this election.
I vote on election day. It is a ritual I rather enjoy. I don’t see the point in early voting. Can I vote now for the 2016 election?
@Jaxk Well, early voting diminshes lines on election day, and if you are going to be vacationing during election week, it gives you the chance to vote at a polling center, rather than mailing in an absentee ballot. I am not a fan of very early voting, but up to a week ahead seems reasonable to me.
I work at the polls, which I really love. It is a secret ballot but in this small town there are no secrets. Lines sometimes are five-people long. And someone makes a coffee and donut run every half hour.
In the past I have used an absentee ballot once because of medical issues. Other than that, no. I love to see democracy in action.
@JLeslie
I’m not sure I have any strong objections to early voting other than it gives too much time for vote manipulation. I have voted absentee when I was in the service but I had no chance to visit the polling station. I do think opening the voting too early makes for bad decisions. But I suppose there are way too many of those regardless of the time frame.
