WTF is happening on the new season of American Horror Story (spoilers)?

I know what you mean. I’m sure as the show progresses we’ll be able to connect the dots. If you remember, the first season gave rise to the same question. But you pretty much got it at the end. Let’s hope for the same.

I feel like last season was much easier to follow, even at this early stage.

It’s looking to me like the conflict between religion and science will be a theme what with the power struggle between the Catholic clergy and the doctors. And then there’s always the classic of theme of undermining the assumptions about the stability patients relative to their keepers.

I haven’t the foggiest how all the presumably supernatural/extraterrestrial bits come together let alone how a 1960’s serial killer seems to be terrorizing modern day legend trippers, but I’m enjoying the ride and expect it will come together. Plus the journalist reminds me of Ellie Bly. That’s never a bad thing.

^^That’s as good as anything else. I’m loving it, I just need to be patient.

Is this show a conception of the future, where Romney wins? Just guessing from the title.
