What are some good books or articles about body language and eye contact?
I’m interested in learning more about nonverbal communication, specifically eye contact, and the differences between cultures and also how our brains interpret this information.
Any suggestions?
If you have neat factoids, I’ll take those, too. :)

Just a factoid that I read recently in a book titled Subliminal: How your Unconscious Mind Rules your Behavior:
Eye contact communicates dominance, but most important is when the eye contact occurs. Dominant individuals maintain eye contact while they’re speaking, but not always while the other person is speaking. The more submissive individual breaks eye contact when he speaks, and is more likely to maintain eye contact when the other person speaks.
So if you don’t want to come off as the doormat in the relationship, make a conscious effort to speak into the other person’s eyes.
This TED Talk is better than any article I could post to you. We use this one in the Autism Community.
Try The Definitive Book of Body Language. It isn’t an overly serious book, more humorous but it does have some interesting stuff in there.
