No meaning. Just be happy and enjoy it. The late, great Douglas Adams said the answer was 42.
To humble you. To remind you that you are not the shit. Then, to build you back up and put you on top of the world.
Life is meant to be lived.
Do as much as possible. Go everywhere. See everything. Try new things once.
Make mistakes. Don’t regret them. Learn from them. Move on.
Meet people. Love people. Make friends. Lose friends. Keep the great ones forever.
And remember to smile.
The process of answering this question is the meaning for me. Or maybe finding someone good to make babies with. Depends on my mood.
how many times has this question or one like it has been asked on this website?
@shilolo – actually, I think you meant to say washa uffizi and drive me to firenze.
42!
Why are people so obsessed with having a pre-defined purpose? Life’s what you make it, so make it something good!
For example: is the beer is cold thats a good thing…then you move on to more important stuff like..sex
YEM…........
Man, I wish they would just get back together ALREADY!
@Allie – you’ve got it!
I would only add… Give back to others more than you received.
=] An excellent adjustment, Upward.
love and enjoying every second of it.
To procreate.
That is the only reason any living organism exists.
Life is exactly what you choose to make of it. The meanings are as varied as our efforts.
to go forth and die i guess, oh, and reproduce as much as you can…
I think that the meaning of life involves pointing out the incorrect-ness of ending a sentence with “is”
make money feed have sex reproduce die.
make money. it buys all the things i need or think i need. with the money i buy food, shelter, clothes, electricity, and skateboards. there is only two things in this world money can’t buy and thats true love and homegrown tomatoes.
but you can always buy tomatoes grown in other people’s homes.
Sure you can, banjo, and then they have to be shipped to you, which means they have
to be homegrown in other people’s houses in square formats and picked from the vines in other people’s houses before they ripen so they won’t squish. So they aren’t any good
when you get them. Buster is right.
So right.
So tragically right.
sorry- I have the benefit of living in an area with lots of produce roadside stands. Peaches, tomatoes and hot boiled peanuts in abundance.
Since we’re able to conceptualize awesome things such as God, or hear a beautiful piece of music or know that Einstein was on fire I think we have to run with it.
We need to shine our brightest, if only to give back to the beauty of life and all it’s possibilities. I think we discover ourselves over a lifetime and that’s really all you can do, just put your faith into what is right from your vantage point and try to be in harmony with the world.
