How mad would you be if you lost your wallet at the gym the night before voting day?
And your state is a swing state and just enough Republicans that voter ID got through?

I’d be upset that I lost my wallet. I know enough of the calculus of politics to know that a single vote on its own in modern America doesn’t amount to anything.
It’s a conspiracy. Some republican followed you to the gym and stole your wallet knowing you would vote for Obama.
But besides that, I’d hate to lose my billfold. I have lost mine 3 different times in my life and it’s a pain to replace everything.
I have more than one form of ID, so it wouldn’t hurt my voting ability.
@YARNLADY makes a good point. I have a passport that I don’t take to the gym. If they don’t accept a passport as I.D. for a federal – level election, I’ll have to take up political activism.
I would pull out my passport and use that. You can get a passport card for $30 I think, the passport book is more, not sure how much it is now. Passports are good for ten years, they are a second form of photo ID, and if you are offered a trip to Europe you are prepared (fyi, you need the passport book for Europe).
Whether it’s voting day or not, I’d be pretty pissed off that I lost my wallet. That would suck.
I only ever lost a wallet one time, i’d gone swimming with the kids & it had seemingly vanished.
After only a dozen or so swear words & childish foot stamping, I found the bugger in the car, it had fallen out on the floor under the seat.
