My favorites were Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Salmon Fishing the Yemen.

My worst I can’t remember the name of, but it was a film about three teens who get exposed to something that fell from outer space and develop super powers.

I second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, I also enjoyed Moonrise Kingdom and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

The best so far is Skyfall and I hope to see Argo tomorrow.

I haven’t seen many movies lately – saw Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and thought it was very pleasant, but wouldn’t say it was great. I’m sorry to hear Cloud Atlas is not good; I thought I might make time to see that.

I loved Argo, and I’ll be seeing Breaking Dawn pt 2 next week. I’ll love it just because I love the books, haha. Don’t shoot me for being a Twimom!

I loved The Hunger Games and am looking forward to Argo and Django.

Ooh, I forgot about the Hunger Games! That was a great one.

I’ve only seen one current movie this year, Hotel Transylvania. I really enjoyed it.

Moonrise Kingdom is my favorite so far. It’s odd, funny, and heartwarming. I liked it because it’s set up like a coming-of-age story, with the kids trying so hard to be adults and playing at these adult roles, but at the end they finally got to be kids. The cast was wonderful (Ed Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, and Bruce Willis!) and I loved the cinematography and the soundtrack.

Just saw Argo the other night. What an intense movie! Very, very good.

The Dark Knight Rises
The Avengers
My ultimate favorite this year was Lincoln. Truly incredible movie

I vote for Lincoln and Argo. Both fantastic movies. Best Exotic Marigold Hotel was sweet, but fairly forgetable. I did enjoy Moonrise Kingdom, but seemed like it was the perfected version of some of the oddball family-town movies I’ve seen in the past. The Sessions is pretty good as well – that one is defintely not forgetable. I haven’t seen Les Miz or Zero Dark 30, so can’t comment on those favorites.
