Is Arizona's diet green tea a laxative of some sort?
holy shit….
But honestly, is there something in the mix that acts as a laxative? My diet is basically the same everyday and I’ve never experienced anything like this until the past 2 days where I’ve drank this stuff and wowww!
Ingredients: premium brewed green tea using filtered water, sorbitol, natural flavors, malic acid, citric acid, sucralose, acesulfame potassium
Hmm…

Green tea is a mild laxative, but I would suggest drinking a healthier less altered green tea before you give it up completely, green tea has many benefits.
Sorbitol and acesulfame potassium are artifical sugars that are a controversial topic as to their safety. Citric and malic acid are preservatives. Natural flavors is a red flag it could contain any number of things. My guess is there is a laxative that falls under that heading.
So my suggestion would be to try a green tea with recognizable ingredients before giving up on the idea completely.
Sortbitol is a laxative.
Also, come to think of it, it will contain caffeine which as can make you to go to the toilet as well.
I call green tea “the poopy tea.” If I’ve been having “blockage” issues, I drink green tea.
Strange. I’ve never had this issue with green tea before. I’ve never heard of this.
Trust an almost life long type 1 diabetic. Sorbitol “may have a laxative effect upon excess consumption”. You can’t gorge yourself on a whole bag of sugar free candies without adverse consequences, haha…
I think its the sorbitol, not the tea. This brand must be loaded with it. I drink green tea often and I’ve never noticed any laxative effect.
How about making iced green tea using tea bags and not buying the bottled stuff? It probably would be better for you, although probably less convenient.
Sorbitol is a laxative. Also avoid sugarfree gum if this affects you so badly.
Is there caffeine in the tea? That can mess you up too.
