For those who enjoy mobile gaming, did you know that there is one of special interest to Fluther users ? And it's available for free today ?

It’s based upon Jellyfish and it’s Amazon’s FAOTD (Free App Of The Day).
It’s a physics based game called Jelly Flop and the one pictured could almost pass for Dr. J. if you added some eyes with glasses.
Head on over to Amazon and check it out. After all, it’s free.
**I am so hoping that The Grinch is not on Mod duty today. I have no financial interest in nor any connections to Amazon.com so this is NOT spam. It’s just a heads up to fellow Flutherites who might enjoy grabbing a free game today only which seems sort of tailor made for our community. Lighten up and enjoy :)

Thank you! I didn’t even know about FAOTD….learned something new!
[Mod Says] No Grinching today, but it is going to Meta. ^_^
And boo. I have neither a Kindle Fire nor an Android device. Why, oh WHY is it not a Windows 8 app?
@Seek
Thank you. I wasn’t really sure which section to put it in and left it for you guys to figure out :)
Regarding your Windows 8 problem, I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to communicate your displeasure to Amazon directly. They do have a toll free number.
However, I can’t use any of those apps on my iPhone; so if they’re willing to ignore the entire sizable community of iPhone and ipad users, I doubt that the small segment of Win. 8 users will make much of an impression on them (unless Billy G. decides to get mad about it.)
However, even tho you don’t CURRENTLY have an Android device, you never know what the future may hold and you can still get the app and just park it in your Amazon account.
They store all of one’s app purchases permanently in the cloud for free. So all one needs is an Amazon acct. And whenever you get an Android device, it can then be downloaded to it.
My Android tablet is temporarily out of commission but I was still able to go to the site on my iphone and get it into my acct. Then, when my Tab gets repaired I can download it.
