1.) I am not patriotic so flag burning really doesn’t bother me, I think it’s ridiculus. I wouldn’t burn a flag but, that’s aside from the point.

2.) Vandalism is wrong, period, historic monument or not.

3–4.) If a public latrine is not properly maintained I just don’t use it, but I could care less about complaining about it either.

5.) I help anyone that is in need if I am around

6.) No, I don’t like being deceptive and would be paranoid to do something like fake my nationality.

7.) I am apolitical but have volunteered in many different areas over the years.

8.) Absolutely

9.) I am very brave and don’t fear confrontation, unless a gun was involved I would most likely take aggressive action if necessary.

10.) I am a huge animal lover and if I saw anyone harming an animal of any kind, refer to #9.

@Highbrow:
1) Did you notice that questions 3 and 4 are the same?
2) Are you a pollster?
3) How do you find the time to ask so many questions?
4) Is there a method to this (IMHO) madness, or are the questions just to alleviate boredom?
5) Do you think that I am likely to respond to similar questions in the future?

1)Let me take you through a scenario : You find someone burning your nation’s flag. How do you react?
*I get upset and ask them why. Then, since this is a free country, I move on shaking my head in dismay.

2)You see a historical monument getting burnt. What do you do?
*Try to put it out and get help.

3)Public latrines in your locality are not maintained properly. What do you do?
*Write my local city council, get the media involved.

5)You find a disabled person struggling to get in line to buy tickets at a movie theater. What will you do afterwards?
*Help them, no question or hesitation. Probably chew the mgmt for not making it easy.

6)You have a great opportunity to settle abroad and make lots of money. But you need to fake your nationality. Would you grab it?
*No.

7)Do you take part in progressive activities that bring about a change in your country?
*Sometimes depending on how strongly I feel about the issues.

8)Do you live in harmony with your neighbors and respect their race, religion and creed?
*Of course, we’re all God’s children.

9)You find a person getting robbed in a train. What do you do next?
*Probably try to help or stop it, comfort them, get the police.

10)You find some people troubling a stray dog. What’s your gut reaction ?
*No question, kick some ass, THEN call the cops, rescue said dog.

This is not a question. It’s eleven questions, asked back-to-back with 23 other questions. What do you really want to know?

I’m going to answer the question in your title rather than your hypothetical situations.

Yes, I consider myself a good citizen. I vote, I pay my taxes, I donate a portion of my time and a portion of my income to those less fortunate, I obey the laws (except perhaps speed limits), and I try to stay current with news and events.

I’m a good citizen. I care about my country. I want to make it a better place. Unfortunately, I don’t see eye to eye with a lot of fellow citizens, so there’s a lot of work to do.

I vote. I write to my Congressman. I volunteer at the polls. I support the arts. I joined the coop. I’ve worked on political issues and community projects. You tell me. Am I a good citizen?

Pretty much what @KNOWITALL said except I would go ahead and fake my nationality if it meant I could do something that was of great interest to me.

Do I consider myself a good citizen? No, not really but I am, however, a good person. Just never been a rah, rah, patriot.
