What is the most you've ever paid for a movie ticket?
I work at a small theatre and we are pretty cheap. Just wondering what other places might charge. The most I’ve paid is $9.50.

$8.50 I think, today for “Kung fu Panda” LOL
$10.50, it’s pretty expensive here in CT.
$9.75, I think, unless I’m forgetting something.
Around $11. The cheapest I’ve paid is around $3.50
15$ for the hannah Montana 3d concert movie
I almost paid $15 to see Poseidon in 3D!
But we ended up seeing a real movie instead. Most theaters here in NYC are about $11.75, but $12 wouldn’t be a jaw dropper. (At least not relatively. the rate per minute here is going up faster than a 20 year old ODing on Viagra.)
Sheesh. I have paid 9$ and I was outraged about that. But watching movies in theatres is mainly a thing of the past for me. Unless its a MATT DAMON movie :D
I saw Beowulf in 3D at the imax cinema in Sydney for $16 AUD and my parents paid $22 AUD. It wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t worth that much and I really don’t think it would have been worth seeing in normal cinema for about $9.50.
The ticket price these days in France or Luxembourg is about 8 euros.
28.50 NZ$ It was in a cinema with lazy boys unlimited popcorn and soft drink and hard core meals
Wow, US$9.50 would only pay for a child’s ticket here in Australia.
@ Brome
That sounds like a freaking blast! Was it worth the money?
@crunchaweezy
I rarely go to the movies, first because it’s too expensive, and second because most movies are dubbed. That’s why I prefer to go to Luxembourg, where they are only subtitled.
The last movie I saw there was Iron Man, and yes, I think it was worth it.
I can’t afford to pay AMC that much money so I just sneak in. it’s really really easy. I would feel bad about it if they weren’t charging 11 dollars for a ticket.
Although to get into a normal cinema its only 8 NZD (6.50 AUD) (6 USD)
