Would you watch the 80's movie Gremlins on the big screen if given the chance?
Just found out it is showing tonight at a theater nearby and wondering whether I should do it or not. Any thoughts? Thank you. : )

Personally, no, because I’m not a fan of the movie. If you like it, though, then go for it.
Do it! I first saw it in the theater when it came out and I’d do it again almost 30 years later. Love this movie. It’s considered a Christmas classic in our house.
Indeed. For some reason I want to see Phoebe deliver her lines again about that bad thing that happened to her during Christmas. : )
Would and did. My first job was at a single screen movie theater, and every weekend the staff would all pitch in $10 to pay our projectionist to stay after and put on midnight movies with the old reels for us and our friends. All those old 80s flicks are great on the big screen.
Man that was a violent movie! Actually saw it just about a week ago. It came on TV.
Oh hell. If I could go back to the 80s and not-watch it, I’d do that.
Probably not that movie. I would go to the cinema to watch old movies though.
Since I actually like both of those movies, I might jump at that opportunity.

No. I do not waste money on cinemas, especially not when they play old crap movies.
For Sure!!! I was 11 when it came out and laughed through the whole thing. Funniest dang movie I had ever seen up to that point.
Whenever I see it now, I become 11 again and giggle throughout the movie.
I’ll change my earlier answer, in that case. I would totally watch that movie in a theater with @linguaphile… in the back row of the theater.
@mazingerz88 That did it- I laughed and now my daughter’s wondering what the heck is going on!! She came over to see the video and said, “I love the Gremlins!” I’m surprised a 10 year old recognizes the film.
