What is the most important thing in your life right now?
Whether it’s really something crucial or whether it could be just plain sounding, even trivial to others, what is it that you think is the most important thing in your life these days…especially now that we are ending one year and starting another-?

Right now? Making sure I have more than enough beer in for tomorrow night, which I do…which is nice.
To find peace, inside. Regardless of the chaos outside. To serve my higher self, love more, heal and soar to the moon. Awesome question @mazingerz88
Making more money so I don’t lose my home. :-(
I have inner peace I just need outer cash flow. lol
@mazingerz88 Some may say that’s shallow, but at least my glass won’t be :¬)
@Coloma You’ll be OK, use your talents! You have many. Blog for one!! The crazy old goose with her geese.
It sounds kind of sad, but my work/research, and the fact that I get to enjoy the correct puberty now. Some days these are the only things keeping me going.
@Shippy Well I may be gettin’ up there but I’m not quite the old gray goose, yet anyway.
Yeah, I am muti-talented, but nobody seems to want my special blend the last few years.
I’m thinking I might have to start dealing drugs or open a bordello or something.
Crime does pay, and handsomely. lol
@Coloma Bordello sounds great! I’ll fly in there and work a few shifts!
Breathing. That’s always the most important thing for me, followed closely by “heartbeat”. Fortunately I don’t have to give a lot of thought to those things, but you asked.
Not that I have any problems or specific concerns along those lines, but it’s the literal answer to your question.
Hey….were networking now!
The stable is filling up fast it seems. haha
Being able to ride out the storms – literally and figuratively.
Taking care of and keeping my wife happy and getting in shape. In that order.
My art and my career status. And my social status.
That I graduate college in 2013.
My car. It takes me to work, keeps me going, gets me out and takes me home to see my family and friends that I grew up with.
Figuring out what is meaningful work for me to do. I don’t just mean making money. I mean something that will have a positive impact on the world.
Like working in a bordello???
To live and let live. Tolerance! Finding the good in all, and accepting the imperfections unconditionally. I don’t have to agree with you, but I will respect your opinion. Working on making this my way of life.
Stability of current status quo. We’ve had far too many ups and downs regarding employment, money, health, and family over the past twenty-five years. I’m pretty happy with the way things are right now and would love to maintain status quo for about ten years. We’ll see.
My dog. Without her I would be lonely and with her I get to be who I am without being judged..
@cookieman I hear ya. I enjoyed a sublime 7 year run of prosperity, but alas, it’s come to a grinding halt. haha
@Sjcluna I feel the same way about my 20-pound black cat.
@Pingu I have a 20 lb. black cat too. well, black and white, haha
Avoiding the spiral of depression.
Getting in to Worsham. It’s like the Harvard of mortuary schools. :)
@AshLeigh: Would you say people are dying to get in there?
@Coloma: I hope that turns around for you soon, my dear.
@Pingu: A 20lb. cat?!?! That’s double the size of my dog!
Balancing my obligations, making sure all the people are love as happy as I can make them, while at the same time balancing my own needs. Surfing the wave of life, as always. There can never be anything more important than balancing on that board, riding the eternal wave.
Love. To me, that is the main purpose of life – to give and share love.
However, I am a flawed human, with a history of childhood abuse. I have dysfunctional thoughts and can often be lazy and self-indulgent. So being loving is an ongoing practice I try to improve – including loving myself (as opposed to indulging myself).
These days my philosophy is to seek balance and not get consumed by any one thing, so it’s hard to say I have a most important thing. I guess what I could summarize and say my important thing is to live a full life while I have the opportunity to do so. I have never lived life to its fullest before now.
My children, my husband, and (like @Coloma) not losing my house. Followed by keeping the heat on in my house. Got room in that stable of yours, @Coloma?
