Thoughts? Did you watch Current? Are you happy that Al Jazeera will be more available? Mad at Al Gore for selling?
I don’t know how I feel so I’m anxious to see the discussion.

Wow, I watched almost 4 hours of Current today, and neither Stephanie Miller nor Cenk Uygur mentioned it. ;-o
Fine by me. I like both of these outlets.
Huh! I wonder how this effects Keith Olbermann’s lawsuit. Is he still suing Gore, or does Al Jazeera now become responsible? Does he really want to fuck with these guys?
Nothing wrong with Al Jazeera. They are entitled to their opinion. The problem is the intellectual acuity of the minds of the people that routinely watch Al Jazeera.
it was in Current’s Facebook page.
I stopped watching Current after they fired Keith Olbermann.
I’m not familiar with Current, but Al Jazeera has been building a pretty good reputation for themselves. I don’t have a problem with them buying an American TV program, if that’s what Current is.
Current is an American TV network.
Al Jazeera is going to need all the help they can get to drag the Islamic religious right kicking and screaming out of the 11th century. They actually are striving to be a credible news outlet. Those charity workers killed in Paksitan this week by the Taliban were slaughtered because they were inoculating Muslim children for polio, and the Mullahs told their followers that the shots were a secret plot to sterilize boys in order to destroy Islam.
@Brian1946 It’s not like they loved Current right up to the point of its sale. They hate Al Gore at least as much as they hate Islam.
Bummer- Time Warner is no longer carrying Current. Meanwhile, they’re still carrying at least 3 different Fox channels.
