Archeologists had misinterpreted certain glyphs in the Mayan carvings and that led to the failed Dec. 21st 2012 doomsday claim. Actually, as the most recent work discolses we were just reading the glyphs incorrectly. After reinterpreting the carvings in light of the newest findings, how close do you think those Ancients came? …but I’ve already hung up my new Mayan Calendar for the new cycle…
I’m sorry, but I prefer my onions cooked.
…and the new doomsday falls on a Tuesday. What kind of world ends on Tuesday?
We just didn’t recognize Santa Claus without his clothes on, I guess.
@Tachys The kind that wants to make you live through one last Monday before letting you go.
I thought Charlton Heston had already died?
@ETpro Nice. I love theonion.com If the onion was for real, they’d be (to quote “My Cousing Vinny”) “Dead on balls accurate.”
What? I thought they discovered another chamber below that contradicted the readings from the first chamber. Ok, I didn’t watch the video so sorry if I just said something stupid. : )
@mazingerz88 Watching the video is what this is all about. Ya gotta watch to play.
@ETpro Ha ha…that video explains it all quite thoroughly. Thanks. I knew those Mayans discovered and drank and/or sniffed strong substances other than chocolate or coffee. : )
